Identity Festival getting Rage Reviews

Here's what some of the attendees had to say:
"burgettstown show was EPIC. Period. end of story. should have been longer than just 1 day.."
"was just in Charlotte, NC! easily the best 11hrs of my life!"
"best show i've ever been to and yes the bass is way louder it shook the floor panels"
Yes..Identity Festival has kicked off and in just a few days all the rage will be in Miami!  Big headliners such as Kaskade, Miami's own Afrobeta, Dubstep's golden child RUSKO, Booka Shade and Steve Aoki are only some of the features to look forward to.  Line Ups haven't been posted as yet but as soon they go up you'll be sure to find them here on Diet ;).

Oh if you haven't gotten your tickets as yet it's not too late. Just head over to livenation.com...It'll cost ya about $63 bucks plus taxes and..those fees we all "love". See you there!

Funny Sh*t

Just like the author of this article, "I was nowhere near LIV" on Sunday but this is seriously one of the funniest stories i've read in a while. Love this kids sarcastic point of view, for those of you who got offended, GO HOME! Where's your sense of humor people? Just as Trio5 said, " if someone doesn’t get the satirical nature behind this post, I feel sorry for their future as a human being."

New Band: Rodiles

Stumbled upon this group while on my way out for a beer. Nice and smooth sound, with looks reminiscent of Hanson.

Shot by JNR ( Entertainment & Exposure )

TEMPORARILY OFF THE AIR

Yes, It's true.

Despite what the sexy robot said, Diet Radio is off the air for more than just maintenance purposes. Yes, we will be overhauling the website during this down time. But to be honest the real reason we're off the air is because of the $$$. Yep...it's all about the Benjamins

Streaming those oh so sweet jams to your desktop, laptop or mobile device costs alot more money than it used to. Before now it really wasn't that serious, because before we didn't have that many listeners on a daily basis.

But now we're eating up bandwidth like nobody's business and now "I" ( Busy Ritch ) am put in a tough spot, because all this is all coming out of pocket...a pocket that happens to be empty right now, because I've got bills to pay and my wife and I gotta eat : \..... but seriously it was either stay on the air and start fasting or shutdown and get groceries.

Hopefully we'll only be off the air for 24 hours but by the looks of it we may be off the air until next week, maybe longer.

If you're the most awesome person ever. You're probably thinking: "How can I help?!!"

Well funny you ask.

For more immediate assistance and to and make sure we're back on the air within the next 24hours:
Make a donation!

Anything helps from a $1 to $5 ( We need at-least $20 bucks to get back on for tomorrow and the weekend).

(see link at the top of the page)

Another option:

Check out our SWAG SHOP and buy a TEE: http://dietradio.bigcartel.com/
It's not completely online yet but by tomorrow it will be.
Funds raised by selling Tees goes toward covering the costs producing the tees, the few bucks left over help keep Diet on the Air.

Finally:

We're starting up a project on http://Kickstarter.com. Scheduled to Launch this weekend, it's not an immediate solution but will help us in the long run.

How does it work?

Well backers interested in our project can pledge dollar amounts towards our funding goal to carry out our project (for example a typical funding goal of $5000 to produce product X)

Each backer gets a reward for their pledge. (for example a Tee shirt for a $25 pledge or actual can of Diet Radio cola/energy drank for $8)* just an example.

Once Launched we'll let you all know about the Kickstarter project here and on Facebook.

Once again sorry about the downtime and thanks in advanced for your
support.

Weekend plans anyone?

Happy Hump Day! First and foremost ; )...you know what that means..the weekend is slowly creeping up on us.  What is there to do? Well..here's a taste of what's happening down in Miami:

Grand Central hosts Locos por Juana as they are set to release their Locos por Juana video! The band is a great blend of Latin elements seasoned with a bit of hip hop and rock. Band member Mark Kondrat also claims that they have that "island swing" as they love to infuse reggae and dub straight out of Jamaica 'mon'..*smirks* sorry..couldn't help it. So go get your best dancing shoes ( some TOMS maybe?) and get your ass over to GC this Thursday, August 4th.  $10 in advance and $15 atd. Tell em Diet Radio sent you

Next..

Friday wouldn't be Friday if you didn't have a good time right? *cues Rebecca Black's Friday*...ok cut the track..*shudders*.. All roads lead to Bardot this weekend as they host The State Of , Keen One, and Rich Medina.  I've personally seen The State Of perform at The Stage and immediately had to have their album afterwards.  Yeah...they're that good : )..so go out and support one of Miami's best!! I'm looking forward to hearing the other performers as well..I hear Rich Medina is a force to be reckoned with and the same goes for Keen One. *raises beer can* Cheers to the weekend!!
