Indie Spotlight: COMPADRE

You know that crisp sound of an ice cold can of FRESH just popped open? Well we do…Diet Radio has just whipped open a can all the way from Sweden, provided by upcoming band, Compadre. When asked to descried their sound Compadre told Diet Radio "In what genre is hard to say, we just call it Middle Eastern Heavy Bass"…who wouldn't  want to listen to that?…. they had me at 'heavy bass'. This electronic trio is based in Stockholm, Sweden and Copenhagen, Denmark and often perform live sets around Europe and guarantee to put on a show... fully equipped with translucent burqas, specially designed visuals and a hell of a lot of attitude…basically an electronic middle eastern heavy bass wonderland… ahh YES please!

Just because Compadre is female fronted,  lead vocalists Nadi lacks no serving of raw attitude and group members Tim and Love amplify it with high doses of filthy electronic bass.

Want to check them out LIVE?

Compadre will be doing a lot of gigs this summer in Sweden and abroad at festivals such as West coast House Festival and Popadelica in Sweden and Fusion in Germany. To make sure you know their every move check them out on Facebook.com/compadremusic.
